Our family's passion for appreciating Earth's natural beauty was a sunrise to sunset kind of thing.  Dad always had camera in hand and Mom made everything beautiful and delicious on the inside.  It wasn't perfect, neither were we, but the Bounty of Goodness ran through our lives and you can feel it today, in these photographs of our recent history.

Through the years, Red led his family, and many others, on wilderness treks we thankfully all lived to tell!.  Dad was dust bowl and we were truly blessed, growing up on native fishes and wild game, always at home in the backcountry.

Before all's been said, before we're all done here, our Mother, Sweet Adeline Rebecca, deserves praising. She was the glue. Without her there'd be none of this...not a Red-Head's adventure, nor delicious grouse supper, nor de-sooted aluminum camp kit, nor golden canned peach in winter. And of course, it only begins there.

Here's to Wild Rivers and here's to knowing

what a hundred miles of quiet feels like.
